Ayam Sailing Europe (ASE) is an International Non Profit Association (AISBL) headquartered in Belgium.
ASE was recognised by royal decree in 2006.

Our main navigation area is the mediterranean sea. There, corals are adopting a survival strategy to resist climate change as found out by our friend Dr. Diego Kersting. However, on the other hand, the impact of human activities is proportionally stronger than in any other sea [1].  One of the consequences is that the concentration of microplastics  in the mediterranean sea is amongst the highest in the world [2].

Our mission
stimulate mobility through sailing. Our activities are based on three pillars:
  • youth exchange projects
  • education and
  • social cohesion.
The protection of the marine environment is a cross-cutting priority common to the three pillars

Our objectives
  • Create European nautical sites that can accommodate people from different European countries.
  • Create a European network "Erasmus Maris" to stimulate and coordinate the organisation of exchanges within the framework of our mission.
  • Organise awareness campaigns and citizen science projects for the protection of the marine environment
